Hot Sex and Hat Tricks

♡ March was the month of hockey romances! ♡

It honestly got kicked off in late February when my friend, Charlee, (@readingrainbowgoth on instagram) recommended "Heated Rivalry" by Rachel Reid. Ooooh boy. "Heated Rivalry" is definitely one of my favourite romance books I've ever read, and definitely my favourite hockey/sports romance.

This rivals to lovers romance was brilliant: you've got the innocent boy-next-door Canadian hockey star and the bad-boy snarky Russian hockey menace who meet before they even get drafted to rival teams in the NHL. What starts as experimenting and fooling around "hate" sex, turns into seven (SEVEN) seasons of sneaking around and meeting up to have sex when they're in the same city, and finally, inevitably, falling in love with each other -- I've read it twice and listened to it on Audible way too many times. But!! It also kicked off "Hot Sex and Hat Tricks", as March shall now be known by.

Following the brilliance that is "Heated Rivalry", my reading in March consisted of pretty much every hockey romance on Kindle Unlimited. Charlee and I read all these hockey romances around the same time, which was great because I got to have someone to talk to about the angst, the heat, THE ROMANCE, etc. etc.

Pretty sure we've read the majority of the Kindle Unlimited hockey romance catalogue... so, without further adieu, here's a list of hockey romances from favourite to least favourite with star ratings!

Open Ice Hit - E.M. Lindsey
Goal Lines and First Times (CU Hockey 3) - Eden Finley ★.5
