Meeting Maggie!

 This post is literally just going to be me gushing over how wonderful it was to meet MAGGIE STIEFVATER a few weeks back! She is the absolute sweetest human and listening to her talk about her books was everything I could have asked for. She came to Tattered Cover in Denver to talk about her new book, Bravely. Maggie is an incredible story teller; in her books and even just talking to the crowd about her books, she talks with such emotion that it is so engaging and fun to be a part of conversations with her. After the talk about Bravely, Maggie answered questions from the crowd about all of her books and about writing in general, and her answers were so well thought out.

After her chat, she did a book signing, and it was awesome how many people brought copies from home of The Raven Cycle, The Dreamer Trilogy, and The Scorpio Races. Obviously, I brought every book I own of hers. LOL. She was so fun to talk to while she signed my books and I got to show her my Raven Cycle tattoo (which she said was beautiful and she remembered seeing it when I tagged her on instagram) and that was absolutely amazing that she got to see the art I made for her books in person. 

I also met a few really cool people at the event. I got into some deep conversations about The Raven Cycle with the people sitting near me and added them on bookstagram. 🥰 It was honestly just such a great experience meeting other people who love Maggie's books and getting to meet Maggie herself and listen to her talk about her books and her writing process.

Literally one of the coolest experiences, and I hope I get to meet her again when Greywaren comes out later this year 🖤
